BARRY MILLER LAW PARALEGAL CHRISTIAN WALTERS PASSES FLORIDA BAR EXAM WITH DISTINCTION
Orlando, FL, May 3, 2019 – The Closing Agent and Barry Miller Law are pleased to announce that Christian C. Walters has recently passed the Florida Bar Examination with both exceptional academic achievement and recognition by the Florida Board of Bar Examiners and members of the Judiciary.
Christian graduated summa cum laude as Valedictorian of his graduating class from the Barry University Dwayne O’Andreas School of Law. Prior to law school, Christian attended the University of Central Florida and obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies. Christian initially began as an intern at The Closing Agent in 2014, then transitioned to serving as a Legal Assistant. He later was promoted to a Paralegal, which he held for 4 years until his recent entry to the Florida Bar.
Christian maintained a 40+ hour work week with the Firm throughout his time at law school. His average work and study day stretched from 7:30 in the morning until around 2:00 am. After working from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Christian would go directly to school, where his classes usually lasted until 10:00 pm. He dedicated every spare moment – lunch breaks at work, car rides, and late nights to his studies.
Crediting his position at The Closing Agent with contributing to his academic achievements, Christian notes that “Being exposed to the subject-matter of my studies everyday certainly gave me an upper-hand.”
After an exemplary performance on the February 2019 Florida Bar Examination, Christian received correspondence from Michele A. Gavagni, Executive Director of the Florida Board of Bar Examiners, requesting permission to use one of his essay question responses as a model answer to be included in the Board’s bi-annual Bar Exam study guide.
Christian was also honored to receive a call from Chief Judge Kerry Evander of the Fifth District Court of Appeal inviting him to speak at the 2019 Florida Bar induction ceremony.
